Commissioned in 2005, VIVA VOYAGE is among the older ships in the VIVA fleet. At 110 metres by 11 metres it is shorter than the 135-metre flagships, and at 152 passengers across 76 cabins it sits between the 190-passenger newbuildings and the intimate 80-passenger VIVA RUBY. What makes VIVA VOYAGE stand out within the fleet is its second restaurant: not the VIVA's Bistro found on most other ships, but a French bistro called VINO VINO, located on the Diamond Deck.
The Cabins
VIVA VOYAGE has cabin categories across three decks.
Diamond Deck: Mostly 15 m² twin cabins plus four Junior Suites at 19 m².
Ruby Deck: 15 m² twin cabins plus two Junior Suites at 19 m².
Emerald Deck: 15 m² twin cabins with windows that cannot be opened.
The page does not specify whether the Diamond and Ruby Deck cabins have French balconies. All cabins include flat-screen TV, minibar, RITUALS beauty products, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning, shower and WC. Note: the VIVA VOYAGE page does not mention a Nespresso machine, unlike most other ships in the fleet.
The elevator on VIVA VOYAGE connects the lobby with the restaurant, the Ruby Deck and the Diamond Deck. There are 6 steps down to the Emerald Deck — worth noting for passengers with mobility considerations.
Restaurants
RIVERSIDE is the main restaurant with flexible dining hours and free seating. VINO VINO is a French bistro on the Diamond Deck — a different concept from the VIVA's Bistro found on most other fleet ships, and the detail that most distinguishes VIVA VOYAGE from its fleet-mates.
All beverages are included at all times across the ship.
Facilities
VIVA VOYAGE has a wellness area with sauna or steam bath, and a whirlpool. The sun deck carries a pool and a putting green. A Panorama Lounge and a cozy lounge are on board. Free bicycle hire is available at every port.
