Commissioned in 2023, VIVA TWO is the second newbuilding from VIVA Cruises and shares the same dimensions and capacity as its newer sister ship VIVA ENJOY — 190 passengers, 95 cabins, 135 metres by 11 metres across three decks. Where VIVA TWO differs from the older ships in the fleet is in its facilities: a wellness area with steam bath and infrared sauna, three restaurants, and the full suite of amenities that VIVA introduced with its new-build programme.
The Cabins
VIVA TWO has three cabin categories across its three decks.
Eight suites on the Diamond Deck are 24 m² with French balconies. The extra space over the standard 15 m² cabins provides a sitting area alongside the sleeping zone — a meaningful difference on a longer sailing. The full-height French balcony door opens the cabin wall to the river entirely.
Standard 2-bed cabins on the Diamond and Ruby Decks are 15 m² with French balconies. Twin beds convertible to a double, with the same full amenity package throughout. The Ruby Deck sits lower in the water than the Diamond Deck — a different perspective during lock transits, which some passengers prefer.
Emerald Deck cabins have fixed windows that do not open. The same internal specification and amenity package as the decks above. These are the value category on VIVA TWO and suit passengers who spend their time in the ship's public spaces rather than their cabin.
All cabins on VIVA TWO are equipped with flat-screen TV, included minibar, Nespresso machine, RITUALS beauty products, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning, shower and WC.
Three Restaurants
RIVERSIDE is the main restaurant — international gourmet cuisine and regional dishes depending on where the ship is sailing, with multi-course menus for lunch and dinner and open seating throughout.
MOMENTS is the Italian speciality restaurant. VIVA describes it as a culinary journey through Italy, with the diverse flavours of Italian cuisine served against the backdrop of the river landscape.
VIVA's Bistro is at the stern and runs on an alternating format: Asian cuisine on some evenings, Italian-Mediterranean on others, with classic dishes also available for dinner. On a seven-night sailing the variety across three venues makes a genuine difference to the evening routine.
All beverages — alcoholic and non-alcoholic — are included at all times across the ship.
Facilities
VIVA TWO has a wellness area with steam bath and infrared sauna — a step beyond VIVA ENJOY, which has a yoga and massage area but no sauna. The fitness centre has a treadmill, bike, rowing machine and dumbbells. The sun deck carries a pool. Free bicycle hire is available at every port of call. An elevator connects the Emerald, Ruby and Diamond Decks.
Where It Sails
VIVA TWO operates across several rivers depending on season — the Danube, Rhine and Rhône are the principal routes. The Danube itineraries cover Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and the Wachau Valley. Rhine sailings run the Amsterdam to Basel route through the UNESCO Middle Rhine Valley. The Rhône offers Avignon, Arles and the landscapes of Provence.
VIVA TWO or VIVA ENJOY?
The two ships are effectively identical in layout and dining offer. The one practical difference is the wellness area: VIVA TWO has a steam bath and infrared sauna; VIVA ENJOY has a yoga and massage area but no sauna. If that distinction matters, VIVA TWO is the choice. Otherwise select on itinerary and departure date.
