The first night of your vacation will be spent in Bali, after which you’ll make your way to Labuan Bajo on the Island of Flores, situated to the east of Komodo Island. Spectacular terraced valleys, natural volcanic landscape and glistening beaches make it a hub for thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. You’ll go from rubbing shoulders with Komodo Dragons on Rinca Island to watching dolphins, mantas and turtles play before your eyes during a spot of snorkelling around Kelor Island.

Next you’ll touch down in Lombok, located in the West Nusa Tenggara province and around 100 kilometres from Bali. This is a land of impossibly beautiful waterfalls and rich, verdant landscape – a veritable gem of Indonesia. Here, banish those aches and pains with traditional therapeutic massages or unwind on the beach, mojito in hand, if snorkelling and scuba diving don't take your fancy.

Lombok also provides ample opportunity for trekking and many thrill-seekers brave the multi-day hike up to Mount Rinjani, a 3726 metre volcano and a firm feature of the island’s backdrop.

Last but not least, get ready for Bali, a twinkling tropical paradise brimming with ornate temples, amazing rice terraces and beaches to die for. Lose yourself in a beautiful sea of temples (each village is required to have at least three) and wander around the splendid rice paddies of Ubud and Tirta Gangga, some of which take the form of dramatic sculpted terraces. After ingesting a whole heap of history exploring the city of Ubud and the residence of the Royal family on day seven, make (furry) friends with the playful macaques in the twelve hectare Ubud Monkey Forest.Then, as you edge away from the greenery of the island’s interior and towards the coastline, you’ll stumble across the dreamiest beaches you’ll have ever seen. Picture rolling waves cutting through crystal clear waters and landing gently on golden sand... you’re in for a treat! And if you’re still craving some R and R, try your hand at yoga or cool off in the private plunge pool available at your accommodation.

Itinerary

Day 1

ARRIVAL BALI – SANUR

Welcome to Bali! Upon arrival at Ngurah-Rai International Airport in Denpasar, you’ll be met by one of our trusted English-speaking guides who will whisk you off to your hotel in Sanur. After check-in the remainder of the day can be spent however you please.

Day 2

BALI – LABUAN BAJO BY FLIGHT– RINCA ISLAND – LABUAN BAJO

A hearty breakfast will be served at the hotel before transferring to Ngurah-Rai International Airport for your flight to Labuan Bajo. You’ll touch down at Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo on the island of Flores in the province of East Nusa Tenggara. Labuan Bajo, a former quiet fishing village, is now a bustling hub of tourism and culture and also constitutes the entry point for trips to see the biggest reptile on earth, the Komodo Dragon (Varanus Komodoensis).

After meeting with your assigned guide you’ll take a 2-hour private trip by local motorized boat to the doorstep of Rinca Island, the natural habitat of the Komodo. After spending around 2 hours soft trekking on the island with a local ranger as a guide, you’ll proceed to Kelor Island where you’ll have a picnic lunch and be able to try your hand at some snorkelling near the island (snorkelling gear provided).

Head back to the main island in the late afternoon and transfer to the Puri Sari Beach Hotel, Labuan Bajo where you’ll check-in and spend the rest of the evening at leisure with dinner provided.

After breakfast transfer to Komodo Airport ready for your next destination to Lombok via Denpasar.

Day 4

SENGGIGI – SELONG BELANAK – SENGGIGI

Breakfast at the hotel. Observe the most stunning seascape in Lombok, unspoiled surroundings with pristine white sand beach, blue sea and green hills in the distance. Transfer to Selong Belanak beach located on the south of Lombok, about 1h45 drives from Senggigi. Passing through beautiful twisty road with many green tobacco farms and dry hills. Unwind yourself on a curvy shape glittering soft white sand beach with hills on each endpoint that faces the Indian Ocean with perfectly blue sea clear water. Listening to your favorite music or reading your book while sunbathing or if you interested in surfing this beautiful beach also a popular spot to practice surfing.

Set menu lunch will be served at a local restaurant. If you stay until the afternoon, you will be treated with the magnificent sight of the buffaloes being herded along the beach, the most photographic moments with golden color in the sky. You will be transferred back to your hotel.

SENGGIGI –BALI BY FAST BOAT – UBUD

A delicious hotel breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Teluk Kode Harbour where you’ll take a fast-boat to Padang Bai Harbour in Bali. When you reach Padang Bai, transfer to your hotel in Ubud for check-in the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 7

UBUD CITY TOUR

After breakfast, drive to Ubud centre to visit the Saraswati Temple dedicated to Saraswati, the Goddess of Wisdom, Knowledge and the Arts. You’ll also head to Puri Saren, the Ubud Palace, via a guided walking tour. This will provide an insight into the residence of the Ubud royal family.

Then, wander to Ubud Market near the palace and do your best haggling on scarves, handmade woven bags, baskets, hats, wooden statues, kites and other local handicraft products. Take a stroll within the humungous Ubud Monkey Forest, stretching over 12 hectares, this forest is home to a thriving population of long-tailed macaques. Finally, transfer to your Ubud hotel for check-in and enjoy an evening of leisure.

Day 8

UBUD – TABANAN MARKET – MENGWI – TANAH LOT – UBUD

Breakfast will be served at the hotel before driving to the Tabanan regency to visit the local market and the hearty chirp of the vendors selling wonderful local goods. Lunch at a nearby restaurant will be followed by a tour of the Tanah Lot Temple, on the western shore of Bali. En route, stop off at the Taman Ayun, the mother temple of the Mengwi Kingdom. “Taman” means “garden” and “AyunAyu” means “beautiful,” this is a holy place surrounded by a beautiful water garden.

Your next stop will be the Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest, nestled within thick, lush jungle. You’ll traipse up the path to the temple and follow your guide’s instructions when interacting with the residents. As the sun sets and bleeds a golden glow over the horizon, you’ll arrive at Tanah Lot and learn a bit about its role in Balinese Hinduism. If lady luck is on your side, you’ll watch as the sun disappears over the glittering ocean – a veritable selfie opportunity if ever there was one! Transfer back to your hotel, evening at leisure.
