At the airport our host will meet you at arrivals where you will be transferred to your hotel. It is recommended that you spend the rest of the day at the hotel to recuperate from your journey.

Forces of nature have rustled up your very own heaven on earth; William Turner sunsets blaze frantically in a color-wheel of umbres and siennas with temples adorning mountain sides. Here, tradition endures with daily chants of prayer within a silky enclave of beaches. This paradise will cast an irreversible spell on you.

After breakfast, you will depart for the tour of Kintamani. The tour begins with an opportunity to experience the Balinese culture up close. The famous Barong dance is a hypnotic dance form that showcases the eternal conflict between good and evil.

Afterward drive to Tegalalang, for its beautiful rice terrace where you may walk along the rice field and encounter the local farmers, here you may spoil yourself back to childhood to enjoy a swing (extra cost) in the middle of the rice terrace.

Upon reaching the village of Kintamani, experience the most spectacular view in Bali. The mesmerizing sights of the crescent-shaped Lake Batur, below Mount Batur, is bliss not only for the eyes but for the soul as well. Mount Abang, on the other side of the lake, is believed to have been a part of Batur in prehistoric times, until separated by a huge eruption.

You break for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, that offers one of the most spectacular views of the mountains – a perfect place to get your cameras rolling!

From here, you venture into the lush green Balinese countryside, as you pass through remote villages, paddy fields, and mountains. Visit the enchanting Hindu water temple of Tirta Empul, which is believed has a healing spiritual power.

On your return to the hotel, you will visit the Goa Gajah in Bedulu. Excavated in 1954, the ‘Elephant Cave’ is a meditational cave with some exquisite rock wall carvings and a bathing pool.

The tour begins with an unforgettable trip to Uluwatu Temple. Perched on a 700-meter cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean, the structure is one of the six key temples believed to be Bali’s spiritual pillars. Here you will visit the temple and view the cresting ocean waves crashing against the rocky peninsula. Relish the ambiance of the Kecak performers re-enacting the great Hindu epic Ramayana, Delight combination of sounds made by the chorus of chanting men hitting their chests and shining their torches over the stage.

After the spectacle, if you wish to enjoy your BBQ seafood dinner at Jimbaran Beach (at extra cost) then you may stop here.

Return to your hotel.

OVERNIGHT IN BALI

It’s a relaxed morning today. This half day tour is a must for Bali visitors. In the afternoon our tour begins with a visit to the temple of Mengwi, where the famous Taman Ayun was built for The Prince of Tabanan in the early 17th century. This important temple is surrounded by a large moat, signifying the world of the ocean. Further on we give you the opportunity to watch the wild living monkeys at the holy monkey forest of Alas Kedaton. The forest mainly consists of Nutmeg Trees, a habitat for fruit bats (Flying Foxes) and 3 large monkey families.

Save some space in your memory card for the magnificent sunset at the spectacular Tanah Lot Temple. This temple is built on top of a rock in the Indian Ocean, just a few hundred meters offshore. Watch the rough sea as it crashes into the coast. The romantic sunset is around 6:10 PM. Photographs in the stunning sunset backdrops are surely not to be missed!!!

After breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure or join our optional Ubud Arts & Culture Tour.

Meet your local tour guide in the morning and travel to Mas village, which is close to Ubud's east side. Prior to that, a brief stop will be made at the colourful and ornate village temple known as Batuan Temple.

Discover the art of Ubud and its surroundings, and meet with I Wayan Muka, a skillful mask maker whose works depict incredibly precise detailing and are frequently utilized in shows. You could get the chance to meet him and learn more about his passion in person. The next trip is to the monkey forest, which serves as both a sanctuary for Balinese culture and is home to a sizable population of long-tailed macaques in Bali. There are two temples inside the forest: a Beji temple honoring the Gangga goddess for purification and a Dalem temple dedicated to Siwa.

Next, continue drive to the Ubud center, for your lunch at Café Lotus, popular for its authentic Balinese and Indonesian cuisine, overlooking the iconic Saraswati temple of Ubud.

Stroll to Ubud’s royal palace, which was constructed in the 16th century and is currently the residence of the city’s monarch and royal family.

The Ubud art market, Bali's most well-known market, is located right across from the palace. Balinese textiles and handicrafts are among the various items that local vendors are selling here as you stroll down the market aisles.

After that, visit the Arma Museum to see one of the best collections of Indonesian and Balinese artifacts. More than a museum, Agung Rai Museum of Art is a living tradition that you can experience by strolling through its lush tropical garden where you can enjoy your coffee or tea before heading back to your hotel.

After breakfast you will get transfers from Legian to Serangan in SIC vehicle. You will start your Lombok adventure with transfer to Serangan Harbour, from where you will board spacious speedboat. As the boat cruises further away from the shore, you will see Bali’s mountainous peaks and rice paddies disappear from view and tiny islands skimming past.  

By car you will be taken from Teluk Kodek to Senggigi.

OVERNIGHT IN LOMBOK

Today’s the day to just unwind and let the beauty and serenity of Lombok cast a captivating spell on your body and soul. Have a lazy breakfast, swim in the turquoise waters, snorkel the reef, or just claim a sun bed for the day. A perfect day to get mesmerized by the sublime equatorial allure of Lombok.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day on the bustling backpacker-Mecca of Gili Trawangan which is one of the most popular amongst the Lombok Gilis, which was also previously known as the party-island.  This trip features idealic island holiday trip to Gili Trawangan combined with scenic beach views, and monkey forest. The facilities are more here and it offers great holidays for all travellers budget.

You will get pick up from your hotel in Senggigi area and we will be driving inland via Gunung Sari Morning Market (stop here to see the locals sell and buy daily needs such as vegetables, spices, rice, and fish, etc.)  Sedimen Mountain Village (stop here to see local villages tapping and cooking sago palm juices for brown sugar) and Baun Pusuk Pass (stop here to see the monkeys and feed them with nuts and fruits). 

From Baun Pusuk Pass we will be driving downroad toward Teluk Kodeq Harbour, Pemenang Village. We will be boarding the local outrigger boat in Teluk Kodeq Harbour and across the narrow strait for some 20 minutes to Gili Trawangan. It is a small island located on the North of Lombok along with the other two gilis of Meno and Air. Gili Trawangan is the most popular amongst the Lombok Gilis, and previously known as the party-island. The facilities are more here and it offers great holidays for all travellers budget. Art shops, cafes & restaurants, budget & luxury villas, dive shops, and Atm machines are available here. Upon arrival on this gili you may begin your free activities for swimming, snorkeling, or sunbathing. Horse-cart riding arround the Gili would also an attractive activity. If you do not have snorkeling gears with you, the stuffs are easily hired from the local dive shops on this Gili (all costs for these free activities should be of your personal expenses). In the afternoon we will return to Teluk Kodeq Harbour and follow the coastal roads toward Senggigi Beach. You will find many headlands and valleys with beautiful beach views. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel for rest and overnight. (Lunch is not included)

OVERNIGHT IN LOMBOK

This day will be at leisure. After breakfast, enjoy the ‘tropical way of life’. Relish the peaceful atmosphere, powdery white sand and tropical waters, perfect for swimming or snorkelling.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. If time permits, head to the local market for a beautiful souvenir, for some everlasting memories of your Balinese vacation!! You will then be transferred to the airport for a comfortable flight back to the UK.
