Starting in Dubrovnik, you’ll have the chance to take a cable car above the city before wandering through its walled Old Town, a captivating UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll follow these sights up with our luxury coach ride along the Adriatic Coast, as you make your way to Split.
At your second destination, you’ll enjoy a fascinating historical guided tour of Split, home to the impressive Roman Palace of Diocletian, as well as the cathedral and the Temple of Jupiter.
Wrapping your trip off perfectly, you’ll head to your third and final destination – the extremely beautiful seaside town of Pula. This diminutive, amphitheatre-dominated Istrian city offers endless beaches, vivid green pine forests and the glistening Adriatic Sea. Giving yourself time to relax, you’ll spend days at leisure succumbing to the gentle pace of life by rolling from your sunbed into the clear sea.

Gracefully lounging in the sun-dappled waters of the Adriatic, this UNESCO listed city is what Croatia is all about and definitely lives up to its name, “Pearl of the Adriatic”. On this voyage of discovery, you will scratch the surface and discover a beguiling land sprinkled with the dazzling natural and historic gems of Croatia.
OVERNIGHT IN DUBROVNIK
After breakfast, the Dubrovnik Cable Car Adventure and Walking Tour begins at Pile Square, next to the fountain by Dubravka bar restaurant. An enlightening walk takes you through Pile Square to the cable car station situated near the Old Town. Beautifully appointed cable cars will take you above the city, offering unrivalled views, comfort and safety. With two spacious cabins carrying around 30 passengers, less than 4 minutes to swish on up to the 778 metre distance between the lower and upper stations, your journey is as exciting as the final destination. The top of Mt. Srd is where you can really appreciate the beauty of the Dalmatian coast stretching far away into the distance.
From the lower station, we’ll continue our leisurely wander through the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Massive stone ramparts, elegant townhouses, stately palaces, archways adorned with intricate detail, and a sense of travelling back in time to the days of old Croatia are just some of the experiences that will greet you. Settled in the 7th century, Dubrovnik was one of the major ports and trading centres under Venetian, Ottoman and Austrian rule. After the catastrophic earthquake in 1667, the city was rebuilt in the baroque style and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The old town is so captivating and compact, you can really lose yourself without getting lost with our guide on hand! That’s unless you want to! Return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.

After breakfast, you will start your incredible Croatian coastal voyage from Dubrovnik Coach Station from where you will board our spacious, air-conditioned coach with access to a lavatory. Relax on upholstered reclining seats and enjoy views of the sparkling Adriatic Sea and the golden beaches stretching along the Dalmatian coast. Personal reading lamps are available above your seat and some coaches offer a selection of movies to watch on board. We are dedicated to making your trip a truly wonderful experience, from arranging the perfect window seat for fantastic sea views and listening to your requirements. After breakfast, head to the entrance of the Diocletian Palace to meet your guide. For fascinating ancient history and outstanding archaeological sites, there are few trips in Croatia that can compare with this walking tour which combines the remarkable Palace of Diocletian with its temples and Riva promenade. The rich history of Old Split will come to life as you tour the Roman palace’s main sites including the Diocletian cellars, The Peristyle, the Golden and Silver Gates and the cathedral. Another highlight is the Temple of Jupiter with its lavish ceiling divided into 64 intricate panels. Return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.
