The adventure begins today as you fly to Kathmandu. One of our friendly representatives will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Upon arrival, you’ll be formally introduced to your guide for the next few days, the person who will lead all of your activities and ensure you are all well-informed and having a great time. It’s a good idea to pay attention to the safety aspects of the briefing too, and then you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions and clear up any doubts you may have. You’ll stay overnight at the hotel.

DINNER & OVERNIGHT IN KATHMANDU

Kathmandu City:

Get ready to visit the temple of the Living Goddess, one of
the most important in Nepal. The Kumari Goddess dwells on her balcony
regularly, acknowledging the greetings of the devotees, after having moved into
the temple with her family. She leaves the temple only to attend a few
festivals each year and her reign lasts only until puberty, when she becomes a
regular girl again. From Durbar Square you can see the Hanuman Dhoka Palace,
the ancient residence of the Nepalese Royalty.

Swayambhunath:

Associated with the birth of the Kathmandu Valley
civilization, Swayambhunath is a supremely important site of culture and
religion in Nepal. Located on a serene hilltop in the southwest, this enormous
dome around 2000 years old is surrounded by other temples and religious sites
for both Hindus and Buddhists, displaying the peaceful co-existence between
people’s differing religious beliefs in Nepal. Swayambhunath is also known as
the “Monkey Temple,” since it is surrounded by troops of monkeys, as well as
indigenous plant species and forest. Its high elevation also makes it a perfect
viewpoint, so make sure you keep a look-out for the Himalayas sitting idly in
the east, as well as the Kathmandu Valley.

Patan or Yala:

One of the three main cities of the Kathmandu Valley is
Patan (otherwise known as Yala), located on the southern banks of the Bagmati
River. Famous for its temples, palace courtyards and public baths, Patan was
established by the Kirat Dynasty and was supposedly the first settlement in the
Valley. Its abundance of temples and monuments (there are more than 1000)
dedicated to a mixture of Buddhist and Hindu gods, are breathtakingly
elaborate. Definitely pay a visit to Patan Durbar Square, as it is one of the
seven Monument Zones which make up the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu
Valley. You’ll stay overnight at the hotel.

OVERNIGHT IN KATHMANDU

Leave the beauty of Kathmandu behind and venture to Chitwan. Upon arrival, you’ll check into a wildlife lodge and be briefed about your stay in Chitwan.

You will enjoy a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle.

In the evening, Dinner with cultural program by ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums.

OVERNIGHT IN CHITWAN ON FULL BOARD BASIS

Today will be spent entirely within the park. You will also visit to the National Park Visitor's centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife.

You will have a chance to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear, the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky) and will encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.

You will also have an excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. Experience Jungle Walk & on the way back one can enjoy the elephant bathing.

In the evening, enjoy Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers.

OVERNIGHT IN CHITWAN ON FULL BOARD BASIS

Enjoy a delicious breakfast. After, you’ll proceed to Pokhara.

Pokhara does its best to leave all its visitors spellbound by the end of their trip. There are mountains, rivers and lakes, including the peaceful Phewa Lake and grandiose Machha puchhre which make for an impressive landscape. 9km northwest of Pokhara, you’ll find Sarangkot, one of Nepal’s primary tourist destinations. Its high elevation (1592m) means it is blessed with priceless views and terrific scenery, including a fabulous panorama of the entire Annapurna mountain range and the rustic settlements sitting peacefully below. At a 700m drop from the top of Sarangkot, you’ll find the Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake. After taking an evening walk around the lakeside, you’ll stay overnight at the hotel.

OVERNIGHT IN POKHARA

Davis Falls:

Davis Falls is a rather spectacular waterfall lying 2km from the centre of Pokhara city. The water gushes directly into a deep, narrow canal which seemingly has no end, and which supposedly took the life of a tourist called David who fell in, and thus was named The Davis Waterfall (other names include Davy’s Fall, David’s Fall or Davis’ Fall).

Gupteswor Mahadev Cave:

Step foot into one of the longest caves in Nepal. On the way to the cave, you’ll marvel at an array of shining stones, as well as the temple stone which resembles a snake’s head and tortoise. This is said to represent the image of the Lord Shiva. Next, you’ll see more beautiful, sparkling gems and a plethora of different rocks shaped like beehives.

Bindebashini Temple:

The Bindebashini Temple is located in the area of the Bazaar and is one of Pokhara’s oldest temples. Legend has it that when Pokhara was part of the Kaski Kingdom, Goddess Durga, the temple’s main deity, was brought from India. On a clear day, you may even be able to catch sight of the Himalayas from this temple, before heading to the old bazaar.

The Fewa (or Phewa) Lake:

The Fewa Lake is the second largest lake in Nepal and is shrouded by mountains whose snowy caps reflect against the glistening ripples of the water. You’ll find an abundance of hotels, tour companies and places to unwind in front of a delicious meal while lapping up the unparalleled landscape. You’ll also get to head out on a boat ride for an hour and visit the Barahi Temple, situated in the middle of the lake. As your boat ride comes to an end, you’ll be dropped back at the Pokhara lake side and stay overnight at the hotel.

OVERNIGHT IN POKHARA

Bandipur offers plenty of hiking routes, elevated viewpoints and panoramic views of the Annapurna Mountain Range when the clouds have subsided. It was first established as an agricultural village by the Magar Kingdom, but was later colonized in the 18th century and began to achieve success as a centre for trading and textiles. Its new residents, the Newars of Bhaktapur, favored the architectural styles of the Newari heartlands in the Kathmandu Valley. The main square is surrounded by temples and shrines, including Khadga Devi Mandir, which supposedly contains a sword given to an early Magar King by Lord Shiva.

OVERNIGHT IN BANDIPUR

After an early morning breakfast make your way to Nagarkot via Kathmandu. Nagarkot is situated 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2.175 meters. When you reach Nagarkot you’ll be blown away by a panoramic view of the major peaks including Mount Everest. It is an outstanding hilltop that offers great views of Himalayas, breathtaking mountain scenery and the most impressive views of sunrise and sunset.

Today will be at leisure and you can enjoy the green hills, clean and fresh environment and the unobstructed views of Langtang range which are the main features of Nagarkot.

In the evening enjoy free farewell dinner at the hotel.

OVERNIGHT IN NAGARKOT

Breakfast will be followed by a drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken to your hotel. In the evening you will visit Pashupatinath Temple & Boudhanath Stupa and then stay overnight OR extend your stay by choosing any of the optional hiking and trekking trip:

1) CHANGU TO TELKOT

After breakfast we start leisurely from Nagarkot around 8 AM or 9 AM and drive for around an hour to the trail head Changunarayen. Here you will visit the historical Changunarayen Temple built on 5th century. It is a lovely old temple with important historical writings on copper plates and stones here and there , and speaks well about Nepal's civilization that time. The temple is also a world heritage site declared by UNESCO. After visiting temple you will be taken on the relaxed walking trail to the village of Tilkot. Will stop on the way for lunch. The two hour walk takes you through forests and villages so that you can experience life in the more rural areas of Nepal. The views down to the Valley can be stunning, as paddy fields and brick-making chimneys mingle before snowy peaks of the distant Himalayas on clear days.

OVERNIGHT IN KATHMANDU

2) PANAUTI - NAMOBUDDHA - DHULIKHEL ( 1 NIGHT STAY)

DAY 1

After breakfast drive to Panauti which is 33 kms away (approx 1 hr) from Nagarkot. From there, hikers start the walk by following the dirt road along the river and passing the town’s Hindu temple. For the next two hours, the way leads more or less evenly through small villages and rice fields. Depending on the season, you can see the locals planting, harvesting rice and other crops and get a great insight into the village life in Nepal. Tea shops along the way invite to rest and have a refreshing cup of Chia ( Tea).

On the way experience breathtaking views of the monastery and the Stupa in the distance. And also the hundreds of thousands of prayer flags attached to a pole at the highest point are unmistakable.
