Continue to Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka) to admire the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Royal Selangor Club, and St. Mary’s Church. Stroll to the historic Jamek Mosque and see the River of Life project before heading into lively Chinatown. This morning, check out after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Kuching, the capital of Sarawak in Borneo. On arrival, meet your guide and transfer to the Sheraton Kuching Hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure to relax or take a gentle walk along Kuching’s scenic waterfront. After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Kuching. Drive past colonial landmarks such as Fort Margherita, the Square and Round Towers, the Colonial Courthouse, and the General Post Office. Visit the Tua Pek Kong Temple, the city’s oldest Chinese temple, and explore India Street, Malay villages, and traditional shop-houses.
