Named after the famous German virtuoso, the MS Beethoven sails on the Rhine and Danube rivers. It takes cruise passengers to discover the many wonders offered by these two romantic rivers.
Completely renovated in 2010, the MS Beethoven is a standard ship that measures 110m long and 11m wide and accommodates 180 passengers in 90 cabins on 3 decks. The size of a cabin is between 11.50m2 to 13m2, offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The refined decoration and the elegant and friendly atmosphere are in perfect harmony with its environment. Day 1
UK - Vienna
Depart the UK and arrive in Vienna, self transfer to Hotel in Vienna Free time and overnight at hotel
Day 2
Vienna
Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Our ship will depart at 8:00 p.m. towards Melk and sail through the night.
Day 3
Melk
Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Visit the Melk Abbey. We'll then cruise up the beautiful Wachau Valley all the way to Drnstein, passing gothic ruins and picturesque villages along the way. Once we arrive, we'll take a tour of this charming medieval town with our hostess. We'll return on board at the end of the afternoon and continue cruising towards Bratislava.
Day 4
Bratislava
Join us for the optional excursions proposed:CLASSIC: Guided Tour of Bratislava.DISCOVER: Hiking in Bratislava: the Little Carpathians. From Devin Castle, we'll take in the splendid view of Bratislava.The afternoon will be spent cruising.
Day 5
Kalocsa
Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: the Puszta, its wonderful landscapes and unusual fauna (including a traditional horse show.) The afternoon will be spent cruising towards Budapest, reaching it in the night.
Day 6
Budapest
Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Guided tour of Budapest, the metropolis that was once two distinct cities united only in 1873: Buda, on one bank with its rolling hills and valleys; and Pest, on the other, with its flatter landscape offering a panoramic view over the banks of the Danube.Join us for optional excursions: Discover the Gellert Baths and Spa (not included in the packages) or Budapest Market Halls (3) (not included in the packages).In the evening, join us on an excursion for both packages: Evening of traditional entertainment in Budapest.
Day 7
Budapest
Once we arrive, enjoy some free time in Esztergom, one of the oldest cities in Hungary. The afternoon will be spent cruising to Vienna. Tonight is our gala evening. Our ship will sail through the night.
Day 8
Vienna
Join us for the optional excursions proposed:CLASSIC: Guided visit of Vienna and Schnbrunn Castle.DISCOVERY: The high art of Viennese living: Music and Viennese cafes. We'll stroll through the city and visit back stage in the Konzerthaus(2) concert hall. After our tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.In the afternoon, join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Guided tour of Hofburg Palace, the Hapsburg's winter residence and its Sisi Museum.In the evening, join us on an optional excursion proposed for both packages: Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability).
