The East coast of Mauritius also known as La Cote Sauvage, contains some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Sunrise Attitude Hotel faces one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, Belle Mare beach with its kilometres of white sand, turquoise and emerald lagoon running along the east coast.

This place has a beach hut feel to it – thatched-roofed bungalows are dotted through gardens flecked with frangipani and hibiscus flowers. Inside, rooms are decked out in a colour wheel of blues, with artwork by local artist Evan Sohun hung on the walls. All rooms come with a balcony or terrace for a bit of extra space and views over the hotel gardens.
